i finally put my living room to use i bought a hisense 55" 4k hdr tv, ps4 pro battlefront 2 edition, and a serta massage recliner. i have never owned a current gen console and i gotta admit i love the ps4 so far. i dont care for opera os on the hisense tv but its a good thing i have the ps4 hooked up to it and can use that instead of the build in smart apps.

One chap brought boards games while our lot is out of our home State.  One of the games was this one.  I liked it so much: I had to get my own.

Let me know if you cut aluminum with it. Diablo 96T blades suck for finish cuts.

I have a cold saw that I use for metals, so I have no plans for aluminum on this.

I did some trim cuts just to try it out and was very happy with the finish quality. Not sure what to say about your 96T experience.

Replaced my now 8 year old TV with something new and shiny. Not the latest and greates, since I tend to cheap out on these (I don't use it as much to justify spending >1k on, or at least I don't want to) Pretty solid so far, and the ambilight is a nice bonus.

However, the truly  latest purchase is the piece of wood (80x40 cm bookshelf) I got for ~3bucks at the local hardware store (complete ripoff, come to think of it, but o well), which is barely visible under the mat on my lap

I always wanted to try out "couch gaming" without a gamepad or inhome streaming and to be honest, it works perfectly. I thought about getting something like a Coirsair Lap board, but as it turns out, a piece of (heavier) wood does the trick just as fine, at least for my couch. I plan on building a Node 202 HTPC rig (which should fit comfortly in the space in the center of the lowboard) to give the spare parts lying around a new home.

However, until then, this is just a temporary proof of concept. But I guess, once the rig is ready, I might have to have a look into wireless peripherals and a second mouse mat that will be fixed to the wood :P

Bought a green LED switch, some black & green cable sleeving & some front panel header cables & put together a new power button for my case since I didn't like the one that came included with the Ncase M1. I must prefer this one. and yes I don't have any front USB or front panel audio, as they made a mess of cables in the case, i'm attempting to find some half decent replacements, but it doesn't seem likely.

Agree, those things are actually tough.  I had to setup some down range in the dessert.  Surprisingly, those withstand sand very well.
