Picked this chair up for $40 at the local auctions. It has amazing build quality & so many features that anything similar starts at $400 & it has A LOT of weight to it.

The arm rests are made from thick steel with stainless steel shrouds on them.. It has height adjust on the arm rests along with adjustment for in & out, height adjust on the headrest along with tilt, the seat slides forward & back & has a locking pin, it also tilts forward & back, the back tilts & the usual height adjust for the seat. The seat cushion is also super comfortable. I really lucked out getting it for the price I did as I have needed a new chair for 3 or 4 months & the open mesh back is gonna be much needed for the warmer months here in Australia.

Grabbed this to replace my Ornata Chroma:

Nothing too fancy, just a Falcon Z-77 but I'm pretty happy with it. Came with Outemu Blue switches, has multiple lighting and color modes, doesn't need drivers, is a full sized keyboard and looks a bit nicer than the other cheapo one I was looking at. Keyboard types great honestly and I like the stiffer feel of the blues for general typing.

Thinking about getting a 10 pack of Reds to toss on a few keys though. Probably WASD and some other keys that I tend to use whilst gaming. Might be a decent compromise.

It mostly just has a better sensor. Can record 4k at 30fps and 1080p at 120fps. It's also more rugged and the menus are a bit better laid out in my opinion. It's nothing too substantial that makes the Hero 4 obsolete by any means though.

I actually picked up a Hero 5 Session the other day as well. This little thing is badass and makes a fantastic secondary (or tertiary) camera and complement to the Hero 5. Has 90% the capability of the Hero 5 Black, but the downside is the Gopro App is the best way to use its features. Planning on using the session to mount to the exterior of aircraft since it's lower price makes it a bit more disposable than the other models.

But, did you shop Smart?

Of course. Few companies make 24" barrels. Few companies make billet upper recievers, without forward "assists." Both, I went with the cheapest manufacturers that frequently review positive, Bear Creek Arsenal and Odin Works. The Mag release was free on valentines day. The M&P15 that was the base for this was $700, it was the cheapest rack rifle that was reliable I found. I only went expensive on the keymod guard and stock.

I got 2 day shipping on the barrel through UPS. Two days from the day it arrived in the city that's 16 minutes away. Whereas 2 day with Fedex was 2 days after Fedex received it, and 1 day with USPS was the day after they received it.

Went to buy a GTX 980 Ti for £250 and when I got there the guy was about to post on facebook marketplace the rest of the components, which basically was a full PC minus his personal 250GB Hynix SSD. When asked how much for the whole lot, as I buy build and sell gaming PCs as a side business, he came with a £450 price. At that moment my heart started to rush blood through my veins. So these are the specs for what I paid £450 ($625 or 801AUD or 798CAD or 511EUR):

Onkyo Integra A-817XD, bought with the money i got from selling my Denon AVR-1602 and B85 + E3-1220v3 kit.

15229971340_ca986c98c7_b.jpg.3b140ee4c57bc7c8cdebffc4a0fcf15d.jpg

Despite being a big fan of japanese Hi-Fi in general, i never had or in fact even heard any Onkyo before, so i'm very curious to hear how it sounds.

Its from 1988 so it'll probably need a recap job, but that ain't a big deal.

What i really wanted was an A-819XX with the wooden case, but unfortunately i couldn't track down one of those, but the A-817XD should already be way more than enough for my needs.
