Ghetto M-ATX to ATX Mod

So i got a Full ATX motherboard form a friend of mine but i have a M-ATX case. I am planning on doing a G5 mod until i can get my hand on one of those i make a few tweaks to my old case.  

 

I know this might not be good for the parts, its temporary and kinda for fun.

Im cutting away a part of the bottom since the new mobo will be taller

 

 

Had to remove a foot. doesn't matter because all feet are going to be 'replaced'

 

 

Safety First

 

 

So I've cut the hole still need to file it a bit.

 

The four new 'feet'  each about 8 cm long

 

 

 

while mounting the 3th foot I noticed it would interfere with the motherboard.

 

So I tried this, But that didn't work either....

Then I found this. 

If I cut away one side ill have a 90* aluminum piece.

And it ended up looking like this (still had to remove the old solution)

 

The finished product without hardware. 

And with Hardware. (sorry for the utterly poor quality)

It's epic! I was just wondering, since you decided to go the ghetto route wouldn't it have ben more convenient to mount the motherboard higher up and have the psu stick out from the bottom instead? Or even have the psu in place of the hard drive case and have your hdds on the outside?

This is awesome but did you check that there's no contact at the behind of motherboard part of the hole you made? Just to be safe, i'd sand it down or something.
