From the outside it looks like a catholic but IDK as I can't find it on google

Before I was adopted I was baptized in a korean church.....

https://place.map.kakao.com/8907662 Looks like it's a presbyterian church.

But a lot of Koreans go to church, the social pressure to attend some sort of service was quite strong while I worked at a university over there. They had a chapel on campus, and for some groups of students attendance was very much mandatory.

Actually, I joined a colleague once out of curiosity. I was mostly wondering if there were social gatherings afterwards like they have at US churches, etc. Sadly there was none of that. The priest did come over and we talked for a while, friendly enough guy, but nothing spectacular.

WOW!! This is realy amazing! I love when the mountains just barely peak through the clowds. Also the lighting is pefect! The "hole" in the clouds in the middle of the image, revealing the valley is a nice detail.

My only suggetion is: not be affraid to push the saturation a bit higher, the blue (shadows) and the yellow (clouds) could realy pop.

Overall : 9/10 well done!

Fireworks are a blast (ummm) to shoot. Nice composition.

Here is an odd one for me. I bought a bottle of wine for a recipe and thought I'd shoot it for fun. I've not tried anything like this before and while it could get expensive buying bottles of wine (and not using them for anything, I don't drink) just to photograph, I could see where it might be fun to do all the same. But with that in mind, how could I improve upon this shot?

As always with my work, no photoshopping done, this is straight from the camera. Nikon D3x, 90mm Macro, f/11 2sec shutter speed, tripod

Nice bit of product photography there. During a play I volunteered to crew for, we used this brand for the champagne, because it was super cheap, surprisingly so from the perspective of someone that doesn't drink.

The below shot was taken during a rainstorm during a drive through some mountainous roads (I recommend good sport tires for this, btw, cheap tires suck). Tbh, I'm kind of unsure how I feel about how the shot turned out. It looked drastically better on my EVF (which is OLED) vs how it looks on an LCD. Maybe I should get a print? Black and white was the intent, so the high ISO was used, in addition to my lens not being weather resistant (meaning I wanted to minimize the time the kit was exposed to rain). The shutter speed also appears to have stopped motion on the rain too. I probably should've stopped down a bit too tbh, at least to F2.8, though my focus at the time was to get my shutter speed high.

Amazing shot here!!! Love the mood and the B+W, I've always admired how well the Sony's compensate for that insane ISO sensitivity with good grain. I'm curious though why you had the shutter so quick in this dark lighting! Smoothing the rain might look good here and compliment the street light with a kind of haze. This'll make a great print though! Just be careful how big since that grain will definitely pop

This shot here was an experiment with a Canon PowerShot SD1000 and CHDK shooting RAW. Found these aged point-and-shoots in boxes and remembered that project existed, honestly quite happy with how well they handle when shooting RAW, provided you don't push the ISO too hard or else you get damn near unusable noise LOL.

The grain was kind of deliberate tbh. I like the look of some grainier film stocks such as Delta 3200 and T-Max. Dark and gritty was what I was looking for.

Though a slow shutter speed would’ve looked pretty cool too, and I could’ve closed down the aperture with a tripod. However, my lens is not rain resistant, so a tripod shot wasn’t going to happen.

Not going to argue there. Though even on a good LCD, such as my iPhone 11, the blacks in the shot are not as dark as I’d like. It’s a bit of a let down actually, vs seeing it on the OLED EVF.

I do love the film noir look. One of the few times noise in a shot works to the image's advantage. 10/10 would walk that lonely street again.

A weather bag is a worthy investment, they are quite cheap! Also, while caution is good, these can take a little bit of damp from time-to-time. Do you know what your hand-hold stable shutter speed limit is? I usually get steady shots around 1/15th - 1/25th of a second on a Canon 6D mk. I with no IBIS

With IBIS, the slowest I’ve gone with sharp results, with as stable a grip I can muster, is about 1/4, with a 50mm lens.

The below shot is taken with my 85mm F1.8.
F1.8, 1/500, ISO51200

Mostly just the result of some random shooting, and pushing the limits of the sensor to see what I’d get. The lighting was quite low (dimmed halogens), and the dog was playing, so I was reaching for faster shutter speeds here. Definitely noisy AF, but not as heavy as I thought. Minimal noise reduction was used, as I favor retaining as much detail as possible, over cutting the noise. Overall, I’m fairly impressed with the result in that it still looks like an image, rather than just completely falling apart.

Cute dog and a creamy bokeh,. although noticeable noise from the ISO 51,200, you could still shoot it in 1/60 and keep the ISO relatively low like at 800 or 1600 and retain the quality of the image.

Here's mine: Shot with Panasonic GH5, with the Sirui Anamorphic 24mm 1.33X at f/8, 1/250, ISO 200 on Rec709 Profile, but slightly color graded. I had to de-squeeze the image horizontally into this wider more cinema like aspect ratio, more ideal for filming but definitely a fun lens to take photos with, the blue flares are quite challenging to hunt for but didn't appear here even though there was a lot of light, just not any reflective light.

Was this photo worth nearly running my car into a ditch for? (Because snow + cheap tires = slip’n’slide.)

Nice sheep,

Rare sight for me along UP coast line (LA to Oakland Via Santa Barbra And San Jose), its almost all Metrolink commuter trains and Amtrak Pacific Surfliner and Coast Starlight trains. Get a few local freights but a big through freight is a rare sight. Stopped waiting for a number of metrolink trains to pass and to drop off cars. The train lost most of its length at Oxnard.
