Hello,

Today we did a LinX 0.9.10 Validation/GFlop test for my cpu/memory.

9900K@4933MHz Cores, 4633MHz Ring, 4x8GB@4333MHz (XMP Disabled)

Hyperthreading was disabled to lower temps/current/power draw.

Maybe one day I can get 4x8gb 4400MHz@16-16-16-34 stable with low sa/io.

Cheers!

Decided to validate my Phenom II X4 955 at 4401 MHz.

Turns out something changed and it's no longer stable, but I did get 4347 MHz.

Cinebench took forever.

Screenshot (it's 4:3 because I'm using a 3D Rage II +DVD for video and it only supports 1024x768 over VGA, and no it's not my monitor, I can run 1920x1080 with my P3 build) since the form is no longer working:

Spoiler

Settings are 207 FSB 21 multiplier. I haven't touched the voltage.

Hi all, my first time back on the forum in like 4 years and noticed this thread, and remembered my old 3770K golden sample that I used to battle it out in @Jumper118s thread with @harrynowl back in 2014 to see who could get the highest cinebench score with a socket LGA1155 CPU, him using his 2600K @5.3GHz against my 3770K @5.1GHz. I just about won and at the time, had the unofficial title for fastest cinebench score for an 1155 socket cpu. I know this doesn't quite meet all the criteria now to be added, but wondered if it could maybe get an honorary mention in the table?

Holy shit that's old! DDR2 platform? I want to build a new rig strictly for OCing. 🤔 Was going to maybe get a Phenom II x4 965 or 975, always loved those chips, I had a 955 C2, and was brick walled @ 3.9GHz cause the C2 stepping sucked.

I had a x4 970 that would not do 3.8GHz even at 1.55v 🤣  It was 100% stable for the years I owned it at 3.7GHz and 1.3325v though🤦‍♂️. Strongest brick wall I've ever seen was that Phenom II.

Its fun to go back in time seeing familiar old processors ive had to see them being higher clocked than i ever could have imagined 🙂

Useful threads: PSU Tier List | Motherboard Tier List | Graphics Card Cooling Tier List ❤️

Baby: MPG X570 GAMING PLUS | AMD Ryzen 9 5900x /w PBO | Corsair H150i Pro RGB | ASRock RX 7900 XTX Phantom Gaming OC (3020Mhz & 2650Memory) | Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB DDR4 (4x8GB) 3600 MHz | Corsair RM1000x |  WD_BLACK SN850 | WD_BLACK SN750 | Samsung EVO 850 | Kingston A400 |  PNY CS900 | Lian Li O11 Dynamic White | Display(s): Samsung Oddesy G7, ASUS TUF GAMING VG27AQZ 27" & MSI G274F

my 3900x just pbo . It does 4.7ghz on 6 cores and 4450 on the other 6. Full load its around 4.2 all core.

I have bclk set to 101 to push the clocks out of spec. Any more and it will become unstable .

5900X at 4.65GHz PBO. Slight drop from the 4.7GHz I pulled earlier on an R23 run but it's 24°C in here instead of 15.

Hi, I am planning to get new AM5 system with 32GB 6000MHz CL30 memory. And now I learned that there is no guarantee for memory run at 6000MHz. It depends on quality of memory controller on the CPU. Official memory speeds are 5200 for two and 3600 for four kit rams.

1. Will reducing the speed of 6000MHz CL30 memory to 5200MHz allow CL value to be decreased to 28 or 26?

2. Should I better look for 5200MHz memory?

3. What are the chances of being lucky enough to run the memory at 6000MHz stable with Ryzen 7 7700?

4. Advertised overclocking is forbidden in warranty 🤔

Just a quick query, have been playing around with OC in bios and the HW monitor reading provided are after a 40min session in MW3 is the values of the volts and amp way outside or as one might expect when locking cores to 4.5Mhz, the temps are still below 90c on any sensor I can get a report on. I'm I playing on the knife's edge with failure?
