This is generally a Great Laptop with a few minor exception like an option for an ssd or an option for 16gb of Ram. Overall a fantastic laptop especially for the price. I would give it a 9/10. Love the gpu nvida 850m

Oddly enough I like that it had a DVD drive on it. As well as the IPS panel.

I like the overview of the G550. I never even heard of this laptop until I saw the review. Looks like a good balance of looks and graphics horsepower. Something I can actually bring to work and look professional.

i like the IPS 1080p display, i prefer ips over TN even though it's slower for gaming, but it's not that big of a deal in my opinion.

Right so my favourite part of this laptop is the aesthetics, with the red trim and the red back light keyboard, and the fact that you can just add another ram stick with out having to pull the old one out which then becomes useless.

I really like the aesthetic of this notebook but what I really like is the ips display. It will make using the laptop much more enjoyable. Also, the fact that it has all those signatures on the back is awesome!

I like the 1080 IPS display. This makes the unit not only a good gaming notebook, but also good for media consumption.
