What direction should i go for my next upgrade?

I worked a part time job and im getting $400(USD), and i cant decide what to do i have two ideas.

 

option 1

buy a 4690k and a decent z97 motherboard, and then sell my current cpu, motherboard and 770 to buy a 780 or a used r9 290 maybe. 

 

option 2

sell my gtx 770 and used the combined money and some extra to buy a 780(ti) or a r9 290(X).

 

im leaning more towards option 1, but are open to your ideas.

Personally I would put the money towards your graphics card.

Or you know, an AX1500i. Everybody needs all of the watts.

Selling your GPU and upgrading to an R9 290X would be nice. 780Ti is not worth the money.

I'd go for the 780ti. That's what I was figuring as far as your username goes. I'm on the coast for the weekdays and the Corvallis area on the weekends.

Personally I'd get the reference EVGA one just because I prefer blower style coolers(sue me, I know). I just like all the hot air from them to go out the back of the case, and with the current cooler being quiet, AND well performing, there's no reason not to get it, and it will look better than anything else while doing its job.
