backstory: gamdias talos e3 case, 3 argb fans connected to a hub that can sync with mobo also has a built in rgb effect changing button in the case. used to use signal rgb, reinstalled windows, ran signalrgb, also decided to try out openrgb and mobo rgb (gigabyte rgb fusion) once which broke the rgb, then after I randomly restarted, to my surprise, the rgb got stuck with one color. most of the time white. case rgb button doesnt work, sync doesnt work. just straight up stuck at white

It depends on the RBG, lots of time its a wire connector causing issues for everything. Rbg lights usually rely on the voltage to set the color.  Changes in voltage set what color you see. You may have a bad voltage controller as well but 99% its the wiring/connections or theres a bad apple in the group causing issues for the rest.

Chances are , RGB Fusion left some kernel files that interferes with the data line on the ARGB headers, usually so with these proprietary softwares.

MSI has a special uninstaller software just to cleanly uninstall MSI Center. (It turned off ALL RGB when uninstalled without the uninstaller software)

ASUS has one for their Armoury Crate

Dunno for Gigabyte, I'd assume so.

That's 12v RGB, which is analog.

ARGB is digital.

There is approximately 99% chance I edited my post

Id start with connecting up just one fan and getting it to work and then building up adding more one by one until you have them all connected and working or after plugging one in it stops functioning. If you cant get one fan to work its mostly software.
