I am torn between these two choices. What I understand is that the Dell has better brightness and HDR performance, better firmware, sRGB color/color modes etc...

The M32U seems to have better gaming performance and a KVM -> two things I'm not too eager about (thinking of buying my own KVM).

My use case is:
- working (coding)
- watching movies/videos

I don't game anymore and if I do, I have a good 24in monitor, AOC 24G2U. My room has direct sunlight.

The issue is, that right now, the M32U is 110$ cheaper than the Dell G3223Q. I don't have a problem with buying the Dell, but my frugal poor upbringing is screaming in my face to get the cheaper option.

Everything is pointing to the G3223Q, yet I can't decide, the 110$ is a big price difference. What do you guys think?

other than the price you didn't list a reason to buy the m32u

Wouldn't your frugal self be even more pissed if you spent money on a monitor you didn't even want or like? feel like thats even worse than spending a bit more and actually wanting it.
