Help Red CPU light on motherboard

i have a gigabyte b650 aorus elite ax atx am5 motherboard, ryzen 7 7800x3d in a montech king 95 pro case and nvidia 4080 super.  I had an msi motherboard previously that was flashing red cpu and yellow dram and i couldnt fix that with many different solutions, so i purchased a different motherboard.  again, having issues with the new motherboard.  this time only the cpu is red on the motherboard  when i turn on the power, everything in the case seems to turn on, but the monitor stays blank.  please help

Shut down PSU, make sure everything is well connected. GPU should work.

Make sure its not just some startup check. Its normal for all debug LED's to lightup when turning on the motherboard. Will go away after booting to OS (windows) You'll notice this after installing windows. Do you follow?
