This is the second time it happened to me basically i cleaned my pc and then whenever i play valorant and only valorant i dont know why my pc freezes, not always but it happens and it was common, never happened outside of valorant even stress tests ran just fine, first time i fixed it by making sure everything is seated well and it seemed like everything was seated well but it just went away, this time however i really dont know, im thinking of trying a different power strip because my friend also had this issue and he said he tried a different one and it worked but i want your opinion

Did you mess up any cable's connections?

That sounds like a problem with Valorant, not a problem with the hardware

Well yeah, but what i found common is when this happens, whenever i put my pc to sleep or shutdown it never sleeps/shutsdown, the monitors turn off but all my fans and rgb is still on

Sounds like Thermal paste issue....dryed out or spotty not covering entire cpu or too thick. You want a layer thats even across it between thickness of a piece of paper and razor blade. I dont like spillover either only on cpu.

Could be leftover cleaner. Or remnants creating a voltage bridge somewhere. Clean with purified water, then mineral oil (not mineral water) then iso.

Could be a pulled connector somewhere too. But id bet my money on the first 2 things i mentioned.

Like, if you go into the start menu and select "shutdown" all the fans keep spinning and the lights don't go out?

Use OCCT to test system stability. Test each category for at least 1 hour

I've had this, probably a motherboard issue. Try a BIOS reset or an update. At worst you'll have to live with it

Yes but screens turn off, basically i have to force shutdown my pc, i think i fixed it by using a new powerstrip but i think the main issue is still there and might be fixed by updating bios like @thekingofmonks said

Why would dried thermal paste run fine on full thermal tests but whenever i shut down my pc it causes an issue? The pc is 1 and a half years old i doubt the paste dried plus i think i fixed it anyways by using a new power strip but i guess ill take that into consideration if it happens again, thank you!

With those specs I'd highly recommend a UPS to protect it

Also, I agree with MonkKing, try check for BIOS update
