Hi guys, as my title suggest I am currently looking for a best bang for the buck phone to replace my oneplus 11 due to the light saber (green lines) issue. Currently I have narrowed them down to 5 phones, one of which is not a china rom.
They are as follows:
  • Oppo Find X8
  • Vivo X200
  • Iqoo 13
  • Honor GT Pro
  • Poco F7 Ultra (The only global version among the list)

My only requirement in selecting these is that it should be at least maintain the same of even be an upgrade from my previous phone. I have listed their own pros and cons and watched reviews and honestly, I am leaning towards the Find X8. However, I still have some questions that I am hoping to be answered.

They are:

  • Is it true that the Find X8 has overheating and battery drain issues? (I am finding a mixed bag of opinions online about it and no reviewer I've watched ever mentioned it yet)
  • Is it true that the Android OS of the Vivo and Iqoo phones are worse than the others on the list?
  • Are all of these gonna be prone to green lines in the future? (my op 11 just turned 2years old when I first had my green line and I would like to be able to use my phone longer than that with no issues)
  • Are there any important things that I should be aware using a China ROM device? (aside from some apps that can be removed)
  • Has anyone tried using the Honor GT Pro? (these has the least review I have seen and dont know why, it kind of feels like a red flag but I am not sure)

Hope that someone can answer my question or at least some of them. Thanks

It's not on your list, but have you looked at XiaoMi phones? I've been using them for my last 3 phones. Pretty solid.

Even the budget line? (redmi?) Where I am, they start at less than $200 and hit every pricepoint.

the phone nearest the price point of ~520 is the xiaomi 14 and it will be the oldest of the bunch so I dont really see the worth in it. As for the redmi series (the redmi k series to be exact) local service centers wont be offering after sales service for them as for the redmi note series they fall in the same boat as the xiaomi 14 of either being older or have weaker feature and specs
