Hi all, hope you are having a wonderful day,

(Not sure if this is the correct place to post for this question, but I'm not sure where this fits exactly).

I believe I’ve got the essentials of my setup in place — I have my tower, my dream keyboard, mouse, and earphones, a better monitor that suits my needs, a comfortable chair, and a sturdy table. I also recently upgraded my internet and router for a better connection. Now, I’m wondering: what should be the next upgrade or addition for my setup? Is there a recommended tiered approach for improvements, or is it more about upgrading whatever you notice first?

Appreciate any advice—thank you!

First important question before upgrading: do you need to upgrade?

Feel free: To ask any question, no matter what question it is, I will try to answer. I know a lot about PCs but not everything.

Not really, I guess...but I have a small sum of money that I have set aside for this, as I want to reward myself for closing out an important work project. So I'm looking into not just upgrades but also possible additions/new gears that I didn't know about as well.

Mouse? Additional drive for files/backup? UPS against blackouts/brownouts?

Does the "reward" have to be PC related?

I already have my dream mouse and enough storage, I think. UPS is actually a great idea I have not thought of.
It doesn't have to be PC related, but I was looking moreso for my setup. Was thinking of a webcam (for occasional work meeting) or some digital clocks just for furniture display. Not sure what else are there so that's why I'm asking for your advice.

I don't have many ideas. Personally I've got most of decent stuff on my PC too, so the next and probably last thing that I don't have is I'm gonna buy a fan. Because summer in my area is like you live next to a lava pool sometimes.

VR is a thing, or a curse for some people..

Videogames,

high-end headphones if you don't have such already.

Vacation?

Better car?

Nice dinner?

Board games?

Steam deck?

Hookers?  Blow?

Savings?

There are other things than forced PC purchases you don't need .

More storage tho, that's important.

Since you don't tell us your pc specs, maybe upgrade them?
