Dumb Question : Are non-branded peripherals like keyboards and mice safe?

I've read that devices need some type of storage to contain malware but what about keyboards that connect via bluetooth and have some type of memory presets? I personally have only purchased Logitech keyboards my entire life but I'm looking for a special keyboard with an integrated trackpad. Logitech does have a keyboard like this but it's very poorly designed. There is a non-branded option available on Amazon and it looks perfect. Naturally, as a hypochondriac, I wonder if the device will be safe because it doesn't have the logo of a large, established company.

A large number of non-branded peripherals are exactly the same as the branded one.

What often happens is that the builder make more of the item than has been contracted for to sell them to other dealers, without the brand names stickers or labeling of course.

Or, in some cases, the item fails the QC check and is rejected, requiring the manufacturer to repair the for sale on the second market.

As an example, a number of years ago my parents bought a no-name television, mostly because of the price, and about three years later needed repairing, and when being taken apart it was a relabeled Sony TV.

In short yes, just look at the dpi weight for mice and read the reviews and don’t buy anything with bad reviews for both

Why is it so flawed? I mean, I would trust a well-known OEM like OnePlus but I'm not so sure about a no-name brand in China. If Logitech was susceptible, companies with lesser resources, especially Chinese ones, would be even more at risk:
