I got some scratches on the surface of my samsung g4 monitor when moving it to a lan event.

Are these scuffs fixable and how do you fix them?

What were they from?  Use a mild cleaner and some friction if they're parts of the other item on your screen.,   if they're actual scratch based...  you may be looking at long term.

What have you done to clean it?  I mean you DID try to clean it right?

I tried to clean them but they are actual scratches, my monitor rubbed against my metal monitor stand

May have to google how to get scratches out of a Samsung G4 screen.  That's actual matter removal there.

I wonder if i should just contact samsung support or something, its not an expensive monitor by any means but i would not want to throw it away for such a minor issue

What do you want Samsung Support to do about the scratches?

Maybe they can guide how to care for the screen?  Since they made it?

One can hope, but customer service like that died decades ago.

Its not falling under any warranty only thing i could think of would be very fine plastic screen polish ( it exists for watches and stuff ) if the scratches are fine and not very deep but i dont know if the screen coating would enjoy that 😄

The polarizing filter and matte coating have been damaged. Part from replacing that (ehich is a highly invasive and SUPER easy to mess up thig) theres little to do. If it bothers you get a new screen and usr this as a secondary. That or sell it online for very cheap mentionjng the damage to recoup a lil cost
