Budget (including currency): 2000-2500 Australian Dollars

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: sim racing, planning on building a new rig but also video editing

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I am currently a little over budget, but I do acknowledge that I care a little too much about aesthetics. Trying to drop the price a little whilst either improving performance or keeping the looks of the pc high.

Thank you

Its a decent list and there isn't much I would change if anything.

To drop the price you have to go with a dual tower air cooler over an AIO, thats where you can save 120 bucks.

But you mentioned aesthetics and I guess you find an AIO to be the best looking, so thats up to you.

You can drop AIO cooler for air, 9000 series CPU for 7000 series, and PCIe 5.0 motherboard for PCIe 4.0

This B850 motherboard is slightly cheaper: Gigabyte B850 GAMING WIFI6 (if you don't mind that it doesn't have M.2 heatsinks and WIFI6 instead of WIFI6E)

Build that drops price while keeping all aesthetics:

Build that drops PCIe 5.0 16x slot and AIO:
