Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming

Other details: Liquid cooled GPU and AIO for CPU

Hi!
I already have my parts but im so confused about air configuration.
My GPU have a LC and so does my CPU, its super easy to find installation guide tips and tricks for standard AIO.. But non for two.

So im using Lian Li XL EVO O11D
My thought was to have CPU AIO top (Exhaust) and GPU AIO (Intake)
BUT.. does that not mean that extra hot air from GPU LC intake on my poor CPU? x'D

Im totally newbie on cooling configs

For rest of the fans Arctic 140x3 bottom intake and Artic 120x2 back Exhaust
CPU Aio Artic LF 420m
GPU Astral LC 360m

I would have the GPU radiator on the bottom.  I would have the CPU radiator on top and then have side and rear as intake.

Wont that push air in the pump or the pump are on the radiator?

Its not something I would worry too much about but you are right, its worth taking into consideration.

Then I would have the CPU AIO on top and GPU AIO on the side, and then have bottom intake and rear exhaust on top as you first mentioned.

What CPU are you running?

What an overly expensive motherboard!
A 1800-2200 Swedish KR motherboard would easily handle that CPU... But I guess you got the money!

The 9800X3D doesn't require much cooling so having the AIO on top is fine.

I have my own overclocked 9800X3D with just a regular dual tower air cooler running at 30% fan speed, its plenty enough to keep it cool during heavy gaming.
So don't worry about having the AIO on top, it will be plenty fine.

I'd do the reverse, CPU will consume less watts and create less heat than the GPU, so CPU rad front intake and GPU rad somewhere exhaust

Yes, but that air is just warmer, it's not 80-90C warmer.

Where do you think Air Coolers get their air from?

For intake that's quite the amount of fresh air running from the bottom, which will mix with the side intake AIOs warmer air and make it bit more cooler

Your scheme will slightly favor the GPU which for a gaming system makes perfect sense. Given the size of the CPU AIO I doubt it will have any difficulty keeping the CPU in an optimal temperature range.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
