Currently running an AM4 platform 

 

So my plan is to upgrade and idk if i go all new pc or just replace what it needs bc rn my pc case is to small and no airflow for gpu and monitor is bad and i wanted to upgrade to am5 and i am gona keep the gpu and ssd 

and here is the parts list for new pc 

Antec C3 
AMD Ryzen 5 9600 X 
Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE 
GIGABYTE B650 EAGLE AX AM5 ATX
ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQ3A 
Patriot Viper Venom 32GB KIT (2x 16GB) 6000MT/s

and curent one

R5 5600x ,b550 tuff gaming wifi ,Kingston 16gb×2 3200mhz, Amd stock cooler ,P3 plus 2tb ,P3 1tb, Rx 6700 xt xfx ,Some 700w powersuply, and case was some random one when i put the pc thogther

 

and pc was put thogether almost 3 years ago now i only upgraded the gpu and added a 2tb ssd and another ram, i wana know whats the best thing to do. but the pc overheated like 10 times and i can see that the performanc isnt the same and the case is pice of shit and would be the best go am5 and do the build

News build is ok, but what's your GPU ?

Pick out a case you like and a good CPU cooler that comes with both AM4 and AM5 mounting hardware. Then, before you buy anything else, rebuild your existing PC in the new case with the new cooler and give it a test drive.

 

You're buying those parts for the new PC anyway, so this experiment could save you a good amount of money and only cost an afternoon.

 

If it runs fine, you should be able to get a couple more years out of your existing PC. The 5600X still has gas left in the tank.

If you're saying your PC is bad, for your monitor and GPU, then I wouldn't say so, the PC is pretty decent for your monitor and GPU, the problem is overheating, because even the fastest PC on planet will likely suffer some performance when overheating.
