Hi,

I have installed a side fan for the case, and i am using the peripheral connector to connect it.

Problem is:

Theres no space, the cable cant be managed nicely without touching either of the cpu cooler or the gpu, sometimes both.

There is little space in between

I opted to use the peripheral slot for the fan for maybe the system wont complain about missing fans or something, but im using old fans that came with the case that dont support fan control, so it does really do much

Is it ok i just use molex from the PSU or should i use the slot?

Anyway if i had proper fans how would i manage it? Can you attach an image of how you solved the problem guessing the peripheral slot is in the same place?

No not according to the manual

Copilot thinks i do thought, AI was wrong

I dont no:

https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/H110M-PRO-VH/Specification

- 1x system fan connector

They also are not pwm fans that are controllable, so no loss if i move them to molex for now, but still wonder how one would do it properly

The proper way would be getting 1 fanhub and putting it on the back ( where ur cabels are ) and route all of your case fans there

But then still, how do you route that cable to the back without it touching other components?

A fan hub would not use the fanheader of the mainboard depending on the model it only needs power and u would be fine with a very simple one since u dont want to control the speed
