Hi guys,

I'm looking for a laptop for causal usage. No gaming is necessary at all. It's just for internet browsing, email and office.

It needs to have Windows 11 and Office will also be installed so no Linux options here.

It should also be light, if possible.

About the specs, as I said, for the usage that will have I think there's no need for something fancy. I only think that the RAM should be at least 16Gb right? The disk, if possible, 1TB but I'm open for opinions.

My main concern at this moment is the brand. I don't have a laptop for a lot of time and I don't have a clue of what is good at the moment.

Thank you!

What's your budget and which country are you shopping in?

My go-to recommendation for a non-gaming Windows laptop is a business-class machine like a Dell Latitude or Lenovo ThinkPad. I've never been impressed with the "home" lines of laptops, and especially not the ones from Asus/Acer/Gateway/Gigabyte/MSI/etc.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

Same here but I steer away from dell atm due to the last couple 14 inch latitudes having had severe issues regarding network stability and just dying/bricked webcams.
