Crystal Disk Mark Settings? And Benchmark to Focus on.

Every tutorial and video has different recommendations for Crystaldiskmark. idk what to do.

 

Foremost, should I leave the settings as Default or Nvme SSD? as they change the test. See screenshot

 

I ran one test so far, results included in the screenshot, is that pretty pathetic? Its a new Surface Laptop 7 Lunar Lake Business edition. 256gb SSD 2230

 

I also read that q1t1 results are what matters, but theres a bunch of different things with " q1t1" in the title

Depends, just run all of it default for now and analyze the results.

 

Do note that the smaller the SSD the slower it is

 

T1QD1 is what you use the most ( the size depends what you are doing, ), and T1QD1 4K random is what you feel the most, as it's what the OS is doing most of the time.

Okay thanks. What about the nvme SSD setting? Am I supposed to select that first?
