I just got a new monitor, but I'm noticing a purplish tint on some white areas, as you can see in the photos below (right one).

Both are IPS and sRGB. The weird thing is, the monitor I bought is supposed to have good color performance based on reviews like 125% sRGB and 87% DCI-P3. So I was expecting accurate and vibrant colors. Is this purple tint normal for IPS displays, or could there be something wrong with mine?

Is this something to worry about, or is it normal for IPS displays?

Tweak the rgb and turn down the blue and red some? the reds and blues look a tad over-saturated and the greens look about right, if even appearing a little washed out due to the others over-saturating

Where should I tweak the settings? There are options like Color Temp, Hue, and Saturation

Most if not all monitors need a bit of tweaking in the settings to make them good.

I know that most ASUS TUF monitors come with a slight yellowish tint to them, weirdly.

You should be able to mess around in the monitors settings to do this.
