My Y splitter has died I need a new one

Go to solution Solved by Needfuldoer,

Just for 3.5mm analog stereo headphones? They're all basically the same dime-a-dozen build quality under the plastic.

Pick whichever one you can get on sale that isn't suspiciously cheap (under a dollar shipped).

If you want a serviceable, durable Y splitter, you'll have to make one yourself. Switchcraft and Neutrik are my go-to AV connector brands, but they're not cheap.

Hello guys, so my old Y splitter has died (partially, as it operates when the wire is at a certain angle and I have not been able to keep it steady in that way).

Could you please recommend good and durable Y splitters?

Thank you for reading.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

Might want to clarify whether your "splitter" is the type for dual headphones or the one to split/merge mic and headphones from a 4-pole jack, and in which way.

Well, do I need to clarify if the solution is already been marked? I use it for Speakers + Headphones, so dual output from my 3.5mm on my motherboard. The speakers have passthrough, but the reason of me not using that is because there is a lot of interference in my setup which cannot be fixed easily, because of the way how my wires are routed. I only need the speakers rarely, so I simply choose to have the Y splitter solution.

No, it's simply that when I started writing my post yours confirming that was ok wasn't there yet.
