Hi,
So i have this little problem going and dont know what to do since im not really big into building pc's.
Lately i've been thinking of saving up some money for a whole new gaming pc but until then i want to get some small upgrades for my current Pc.

Currently i got:

  • CPU: i5 9400F
  • GPU: 3060 12GB OC Vision
  • Ram: 16GB DDR4 3200 MHz Running on 2666MHz  (Ordered myself 16GB more)
  • Motherboard: B360M PRO-VDH
  • PSU: 600W (Dont know the exact name)

Should i overclock anything or just buy some small upgrades or just call it a day.
PS: Sorry if i used the wrong Topic.

Since my new build would be AMD AM5 so i'd have to upgrade almost everything. So after about 4/5 months i can buy the new one but until then i'd have to use my current PC.

If you intend on going with AM5 then use your current PC but don't spend anymore money on upgrading it. What country are you located?

I live in The Netherlands. I wanted to use my Current PSU which is 650W (Just now saw its 650W instead of 600W) in my new build but Estimated Wattage is 631W so dont know if 650W would be enough.

The 3060 takes under 200W, the 12400 will be another 150W MAX, I doubt that you'll exceed 500W. With this configuration, you're fine with a 650W power supply. Even my 12700K & 4070Ti combo draws less than 500W from the wall while playing games. The only time it goes over 500W is when I run a stress test on both components, at which point it draws around 630W from the wall

This gives you an idea of how much an AM5 system cost minus the motherboard.
