So my RM750x has a constant buzzing/humming sound and I'm not sure if it's just another case of coil whine or it being faulty. I can't provide a video because it's not loud enough to pick up on my phone, literally have to put my ear right up to it lol.

First, I'd like to clarify a few things:

- It's not my GPU. It has coil whine too, but I've isolated this sound to the PSU.

- It happens and doesn't appear to change on all loads. Gaming or idle, it's the same. Sometimes when booting, it's fairly quite, but other times it's a lot louder.

- Tried plugging into the wall directly instead of my surge protector but same result.

- It's not the fan. I hear it with low RPM mode on, and under low load.

- I don't think it made the sound during the first few weeks of use.

I do know that, sometimes, when turning off it makes a high pitched whine/squeal sound, so that's why I'm assuming it's just coil whine. But should it happen at all loads like this?

All I can say here is that my RM750i had constant coilwhine as well.  Not loud enough to be heard unless I put my ear next to the PSU but it was constant.

I definitely think what you are describing here is just regular Coilwhine and you have nothing to worry about 🙂

That makes me feel a bit better lol. So your's also didn't change noise during different loads either?
