Just following on from a previous post^ Sorry I am new to tech and PCs, and also don't know difference between thread and post hope this still finds people to help me聽馃槥

So for info:

My PC has No POST on start, however pc does power on (with running fans and RGB, but no connection to display port or USB connections).

The strange thing is if I "hard shutdown/force shutdown" my pc (power off with the on/off button) and turn it on immediately after, it boots right up.

I receive no POST in initial boot up, restart, or sleep. But when I do the "hard shutdown" it boots right up.

The LED lights that light up on boot on the motherboard: after initial boot it stops at DRAM, however after hard shutdown it goes through all lights and boots up normally.

I put a video to show you if that helps!

I went through the instructions of the post above^ and doesnt seem to change anything.

I've tried a lot of things to try fix it but has not helped at all:

- I've unplugged and plugged the GPU and RAM back in.

- I've turned tinkered around with the BIOS settings, turned off Fast boot, changed UEFI, enabled X.M.P (but it gets stuck on a repeat cycle, where it restarts, however when I force shut down it get stuck on BIOS settings), POST delay, turned primary display to PCIe, disabled ASPM,, changed PCIe link speed (to Gen3), enabled CSM.

- Cleared CMOS through changing batteries and through the pins

- Tried another GPU and RAM sticks, and tried all RAM ports.

- Checked all connections.

- PSU is non-modular (so I can't check for connections? or is there a way? - I dont really have any tools to help with checking individual wires)

- I've stressed tested all my components and it all seems okay, no fails or anything.

- Monitor and DP cable works fine on another PC so im sure its not that, and DP cable in DP port is not loose/wobbly

My PC specs are:

- GPU: 3070 RTX

- CPU: i5 10400F

- B460M-Plus Motherboard

- 16GB RAM - DDR4, Kingston Fury Beast? - have them in slots A2, B2

- 650W Thermaltake PSU - SMART BX1 RGB 650W Smart Series Power Supply

- BIOS version is 20/11/2024 - SMBIOS Version: 3.2

It would be great if someone could help me find out whats wrong! Thank you for your help 馃檪

If theres any more info I missed please let me know, im not too sure how this works sorry!

It's not a biggie, however it is quite annoying after a while.
