Hello !

I'm a student doing general 3D modeling for real-time rendering (on UE5), and I'm in need of a laptop that can be my secondary computer when on the go.

As for needs, I'll be using it for modeling (Autodesk Maya), sculpting (Zbrush), texturing (Substance Painter), and UE5, to name a few amongst a few other softwares. I need something that'd handle these tasks quite well (I'm using an R7 2700, 32GB of DDR4 and an rtx 3070 on my desktop and it works fine for my needs), while not breaking the bank. RAM and storage could always be a later upgrade, but I'm a bit worried about VRAM though, less than 8GB isn't gonna cut it.

I'm looking second-hand, and finding quite a lot of entry level laptops around the 600€ mark(I'm looking to spend around this at max) from various brands (HP Victus, Erazer Deputy, Lenovo LOQ, Gigabyte G5, MSI A15, etc). When looking at some specs though, one of the bad points seems to be the screen. While not needing anything perfect, something somewhat color accurate would be nice.

I was wondering if you guys had any kind of model I could hunt for ? There are a LOT of models on the second hand market and it's quite hard to differentiate gems from bad ideas, especially since I haven't been following the hardware for some time now (no idea what the AMD GPUs are worth for example).

Hope you guys can help me a little ! Thanks in advance and have a nice day !
