YouTube huge thumbnails on Mobile App now

I have a galaxy z fold 6, and even with my phone unfolded, each thumbnail takes up my entire screen. One thumbnail viewable at a time! OMG I hate YouTube right now! Anyone know of any way to fix this trash?

Where exactly in the app does that appear? Are you talking about the suggested videos bar within a fullscreen video? YouTube made those significantly larger, I also strongly dislike it as you can no longer see the video beneath with the suggested videos open

Yes. The home screen. Every single thumbnail was full screen. The day before every thumbnail was much smaller and I could fit three or four across my screen depending on how I rotated my screen. I did find a fix however. If I open YouTube in chromes browser, when the browser would then auto load the app, it would load the thumbnails normal size again. I have included a screenshot of how it looks now. I read that this was a thing that YouTube was doing by making them full size. When I reached out to their support they told me there was no way to revert it and that was the direction that YouTube was heading. Makes no sense for a phone like a z-fold with a large screen. They really just need to make that kind of stuff and option for the user
