I have a Kingston SA400S37/240G SSD i locked in a petty attempt to stop my PC from being usable. My keyboard was screwed up and the password must have gotten mixed up. Since this was long ago, I don't remember much. I had to buy a new one. Now i need it again. I will try Linux secure erase from Ubuntu live boot. Could i do this in a VM and the SSD plugged into a USB adapter? How do I remove it? I don't mind erasing the data, would be cool to see what i had in late 2022 i believe
