CyberPower vs Servo AVR – Which One's Better?

 

Hey everyone! I've been using an old transformer/relay-type AVR for over a decade, and I'm planning to move it to another PC. Now, I’m looking for a reliable and high-quality AVR for my main setup.

I came across a Servo Motor AVR with a digital display—looks really solid based on YouTube reviews, especially when it comes to handling voltage fluctuations. The only catch is it costs around $90. On the other hand, there’s the CyberPower CL1000EVR, which a lot of people recommend, and it's only $20.

Would love to hear your thoughts—what do you think is the better choice?

Weren't you asking about UPS awhile ago?

If you plan to use AVR and UPS, know that usually UPS has inbuilt AVR.

Even my budget one does.

 

I'd take whatever ChatGPT says with a lot of salt.

Personal story : I used a cheap local brand AVR that uses Japanese name for like nearly 12 years, never had problem.

And we're talking south-east asia level of electricity, in an old house with old wiring in the wall.

What does that have to do with the $20 one still being liked a lot?

 

Get the cheaper one unless the 4.5x more expensive one can do something amazing.
