There is a very very very very very good chance that cpu has degraded and is basically dead. As every 13th and 14th gen i9 is expected to do.

Laptop cpus are not affected by the degreading issus i think he has a i9-13980HX or smth like that 13900k is a destop cpu not used in laptops

i think its just full of dust and overheats into shutdown when cpu/gpu are hit at the same time

it is a 13980HX, i did clean the fans but it has liquid metal on cpu and gpu so i didnt want to touch that

What i dont get is that u dont get the same issu on a synthetic load gaming most of the time is hitting the hardware less then a full synthetic load on both cpu/gpu could u maybe check the windows eventviewer and see if u have a error there maybe a power failure or smth ? its maybe possible the power supply is not providing as much power as it should and causing the shutdown ( smth similar happend years ago on a old alienware but in that case it also happend on a synthetic load)

and temps reached 90C on cpu and 87C on gpu

To me this seems like there could be an issue with the liquid metal. My laptop also came with LM on the CPU and after around 1.5 years, I had my CPU constantly running at 95°C in games where before it would sit in the mid 80s. There were a few select cores reaching over 95°C while some were as cold as 82C°. Turns out that the LM formed an oxidized spot over the cores that got so hot. I wasn't that confident at first but I opened the laptop, removed the heat sink and could easily get rid of the oxidized spot by rubbing it away with a q-tip using the remaining LM. Did the same on both the cooler and the die and voilà, my CPU was back to the mid-80s with an even spread across all core. Also applied fresh paste to the GPU as it was totally dry and bam, good as new. So far I haven't had to do any more maintenance on it and it's approaching the age of 5 already

Even in such a powerful laptop, the GPU shouldn't be running at 87 degrees
