Crystal Disk Mark can be used to test actual performance but it won't detect failures related to temps and sustained usage.

Have a nice day

it's the 4th day without any freeze, in fact it was the ssd,
I did a clean install on my old sata ssd and it works.
I think it's either the slot on the motherboard or a faulty ssd.
Idk if it's so important but I used my USB stick to download the system,
previously I just downloaded it on the disc I wanted it to boot on.
So for those having the same issue as me try that

- Clean system install using a USB stick
- Change the device you are booting your pc with

Sometimes it's really that simple
Local repair shop told me if the sound and video freezes (not crashes immediately), 90% it's the fault of the ssd
Mind that my pc wasnt overheating, and a clean install doesnt always help ( tho It did with that )

Hey, my pc has an issue, I lately bought a pc, the psu and the case was bought new, gpu was bought used, temps are good, it passed the furmark test, cpu was bought used and temps are okay. This issue started happening 1 week after assembling the pc, i was chilling on his pc, then suddenly the whole computer started stuttering really hard (basically 1 fps on the desktop) and turned off after around 10-15 seconds. After 2 tries of failed booting (while booting does the same stutter thingy) I reinstalled the whole system, later I found that the pcie cable was not plugged in 100% (the clip was in but you could kinda see the pins), after fixing that the pc worked fine for 2 days, after which the same thing happened again, after turning off the psu for a few minutes (about 5) the pc works. Right now the pc works but im worried that the issue might happen again.

parts I have an how old they are:
motherboard ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WIFI II    3-4 years

cpu ryzen 7 5700x     2 years
gpu rtx 3080 rog strix 10gb    3-4 years
ram 2x16 cl16 3600 g skill rgb    2 years
psu BE QUIET! Pure Power 12 M 850W 80+ Gold    new
ssd nvme LEXAR NQ790 1TB    5 months
case msi mag pano 100r pz    new

If someone would be able to help me it would be nice. feel free to ask me for more info about the incident i'll try to provide screenshots and anything you need.

Not sure if it can helps you but AMD CPUs of that era are rated for 3200 ram.  Maybe you should try lowering your RAM speed to 3200 to give the CPU a chance.

Good luck !

it happened even without xmp on, where the rams were at around 2400, I also tried with just 1 stick and different slots

Would have been an easy solution...

I think it is time you try checking you RAM with memtest86 or other utility.

Try testing your boot SSD with Crystal Disk Mark.

Check your temps with HWinfo64.

Test with another PSU.

Good luck !

I will do those, but what if it still doesn't help? what would be the next step?

Those tests are raking errors pretty large. If all the hardware is testing good then the problem is software. Just wipe the boot drive and reinstall Windows for example.

Did everything from the list besides changing the psu, the ram passed 8 times, did a bios reset and updated drivers (amd chipset, nvidia drivers), now Im just waiting for the results because the freeze occurs after 1-2 days of playing, also I get a lot of warnings and errors in Windows event viewer mostly DistributedCOM id 10016 and mtkwlex id 1, rarely e2fexpress id 27 idk if it matters but I didnt activate the windows yet because I didnt bother for now cuz of the freezes

Did HWinfo64 report normal temps ?

That one shouldn't cause issues

Your wifi card is made by Mediatek and has trouble with drivers.

Your Ethernet adapter misbehaves. Some users did report hard crashes from that one.

Unfortunately, I cannot find a solution and if you check that link, it seems that Microsoft, Intel and Asus are playing ping-pong with that issue.

so the freeze occured again just now, this time it tried to fight more and almost unfreezed, Im not sure what to do anymore, temps look fine besides the m2, it gets to around 60 while gaming. ALSO this is what happened right before the freeze, I turned off the wifi in bios for now ( I dont even use it so whatever) if that really fixes it I will be pissed
