65” Oled Tv

Go to solution Solved by Shimejii,

Samsung S90D has been a top pick from quite a few of the youtubers i watch for them. Should be available for around 1000$ at 65 inches

I am looking for an oled tv that is 65 inches in the USA for around 1000 dollars. I have a ps5 pro that I watch tv on and play games on. I also have a switch I’d like to have connected to the tv. My soundbar uses an optical audio connection (I will upgrade sound systems eventually) that needs to be compatible.

Are there any good options at this price point? I may be willing to spend another 100-200 if it will make a world of difference. At what point is it worth waiting for sales and looking for a more expensive specific tv?

Without question, buy a Samsung QD-OLED if you are going the OLED route, but do know all OLEDs are dim and will struggle in a bright room. The high peak brightness often touted in marketing is only in a tiny 3–10% window, and anything beyond that, they dim drastically. I would also recommend looking at mini-LED—the QM851 from TCL is an amazing TV with performance neck and neck with the Bravia 9, and it currently sells for 900 bucks, which is a steal for what you get. Side by side in normal lighting, the QM851 will obliterate any OLED when it comes to HDR impact...
