Hi! I am going to be working remotely for a a while, and instead of purchasing a used monitor from Facebook Marketplace, i thought i could look for a portable monitor, since they are targeted towards my use case.

Hoewever when it came time to look, there were not that many reputable reviews for most of the options available! Shortcircuit has only covered a crazy expensive foldable OLED, and there isn't that much coverage in youtube (which is now infested by AI videos). You can sometimes find written reviews for specific models, but there is a huge variety of off-brands going around.

Ideally I would be looking for something cheap, light, and that does not require additional power from the wall. This in particular is sometimes not mentioned in some listings, and you only find out about it by reading Amazon reviews.

The ASUS ZenScreen seems like it has everything, but at a farily high price point compared to other brands. It also has 21 models listed in Amazon, so it's a guessing game on what features you are missing for each.

I would love to see coverage on this niche from LTT, and really appreciate any suggestions on any cheap models that are good enough to try.
