Hi, Im new to Overclocking and want to overclock my Ram from 2666 to 3200MHz. My motherboard doesnt allow me to put it higher then 2666Mhz. Does that mean i shouldn't overclock to 3200?

If it means i CAN overclock to 3200 could someone help me with this cause im scared i will harm my PC.
Im using Kingston Fury DDR4 3200MHz

What cpu and board?

I have to assume its coffeelake on a non z board or something given the max 2666

If its indeed chipset limited to 2666 then yeah nothing you can do except set bclk to 102.9 and call it a day

Sorry im new to it.

CPU: i5 9400F
Motherboard: B360M PRO-VDH

B360 motherboards do not allow for ram overclocking, and neither do non-K CPUs from before 12 gen

This is very different from AMD which allows ram overclocking on all platforms except for the A series motherboards like A320

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Yeah its awful i know but im saving up for a new PC but until then just tryna get the best out of it.

The thing is... It doesn't even matter, some ppl never use XMP or overclocking and are perfectly fine,  what's way more important is that the ram is in *dual channel*...if it is, you're good basically.
