Gaming Monitor is breaking the budget

Hello, I'm looking to buy a gaming monitor, and I'd really like one on the bigger side that's slightly curved. I found the Samsung Odyssey G5 34'' 1440p for the price of $344 in my country (Romania), but it's really breaking my budget. Is it any good? Would there be any alternatives with a smaller price?

While that is a very good monitor, there are a lot of decent 34" Ultrawide monitors, can you list a store or two you're buying from?

Not exactly up to date on the offerings in Romania Or the cost of buying from a European store for example.

I normally use PCGarage, eMAG and Compari.ro(this last one lists more websites and lets you compare prices)

I've found two Gigabyte models that seem nice as well. Could you give me an opinion, and perhaps your recommendation for gaming?

The first one you list is a VA panel. While mine is a VA and I love it, IPS is the way to go if you can.

The one at PC Garage is Forbidden to me, may be region issue.

Tho to put it in perspective, my 35" AOC VA was $849 at Microcenter 8 years ago. So a $350 Samsung is progress

I would advocate getting the nicest monitor you can, as it'll be the component that lasts the longest. Thru multiple PC iterations. Don't cheap out.

And frankly, $350 for 1400p Ultrawide is good. It's a tier above 1440p.
