Debian Conf is back in France:  #DebCamp July 7th-13th & #DebConf25 14th to 19th 2025 ::  Brest - France :: IMT Atlantique - Brest Campus

Welcome to DebConf25! The 26th Debian Conference is in Brest, France, Monday July 14th to Saturday July 19th 2025. DebCamp will be held from Monday July 7th to Sunday July 13th 2025.

tge camp: What is DebCamp
We received some questions about “what is DebCamp” and “how is DebCamp different from DebConf”. We wrote this text to help you decide whether to come early to Brest to take part in DebCamp (the week before DebConf). DebCamp is the hacking session right before DebConf. DebCamp usually occurs in the week before DebConf itself. It’s a week for Debian contributors to focus on their Debian-related projects, tasks, or problems uninterrupted. DebCamps are largely self-organized since it is for people who would like to do some work. Some prefer to work alone, while some prefer to participate in or organize sprints. Both are great, although we strongly encourage you to plan your DebCamp week in advance.

About DebConf:
DebConf is the annual conference for Debian contributors and users interested in improving Debian. Previous Debian conferences have featured speakers and attendees from all around the world. The last DebConf, DebConf24, took place in Busan, South Korea and was attended by 346 participants from over 45 countries.

 

DebConf25 is taking place in Brest, France from July 14 to July 19, 2025.
It is being preceded by DebCamp, from July 7 to July 13, 2025
