X870 stuck on single dash with code 15

Hi folks, I recently built my very first PC. Specs are as follows:

1. MSI x870 tomahawk 
2. Ryzen 7600
3. MSI 750W PSU
4. Radeon 9070 XT
5. 32G - 2x16 gb CL30 6000 MTs Ram
6. 2 TB SSD

Issue is exactly what the title says, I have no output from the GPU and I am constantly stuck on code 15 with a single dash on the monitor from the onboard graphics.

People online said it’s just memory training, so I left it - overnight! - woke up and it was still stuck at code 15.

What should I do?

It won’t boot at all

That is indeed memory training. If it was me, I’d reseat memory and try again. Move memory around and try again. Clear CMOS and try again, and update BIOS and try again.

15 also mean memory training on my motherboard. Which ports have you installed the RAM in? A2 and B2, right?

Yes A2 and B2, I left it overnight and it’s still stuck there in the morning.

Try each stick, one at a time, using A2 port. To rule out if any works at all. 

If you get to post with either of the sticks, then update BIOS to the latest one and then try dual channel again.

It says Quad channel. Are you using 4 sticks? 

 

Great that you are in at least. I would recommend updating BIOS as the next thing.

Cleaning CMOS did something, I still don’t have a display from my GPU but I get this output from my onboard graphics:

No I am just using 2 sticks - it’s weird it says that - also mashing buttons isn’t taking me anywhere… am I doing something wrong here?

DDR5 will be reported as quad-channel in some cases due to its design. On a consumer board, 2-sticks and 4-sticks is still dual channel.

Try a different keyboard? Different USB port?

As per @GuiltySpark_'s comment, no, seem like your setup is correct. 

Whenever the keyboard thing is fixed, go for a BIOS update.

No just the same screen, I haven’t tried BIOS update because I still can’t get the keyboard to work - and I know it’s a working keyboard so i am a bit confused.

 

can I update bios without a working keyboard?

Some motherboards have a BIOS update port and a button to enable BIOS updating, I believe even without a CPU on some boards. Maybe you can initiate a BIOS update like this on your board?

You aren't stuck, it's the normal first boot screen, just press F1

Keyboard doesn’t work for some reason, tried all USB ports and I am sure my keyboard works.

 

currently I tried flashing bios but now I’ve been stuck at flash red light for hours
