Hi, im looking to buy a camera that will have enough resolution to detect and track insects. Small roaches have started appearing for some reason. I have to find out where the entry point is and seal it. Pest control is useless since they only deploy some gel, powder and traps, but do not find the entry points. Im just going to need to monitor and find it, but how? I tried with a Tapo C210 camera, it does not pick insect movements. I saw a silverfish and the camera didn't detect it, the res is 2k but apparently not high enough. Please let me know.

Cameras arent really good to detect insect intrusions. Best three spots to look are, Windows, doors, power outlets. Cameras will not be able to track small insects. Going around with soap or Diatomaceous Earth around the doors, windows and such will do you much better.

Small roaches

Chances are they already laid a shit ton of eggs in various crevices.

Dunno how's the plumbing system set up there, but yeah if there's a drainage or something that connects to outdoor.. that's a definite entry point, hiding point, and breeding point.

There is approximately 99% chance I edited my post

First thing you need to do is vacuum crumbs and remove other sources of food. The other thing is to mop hard floors and clean countertops with soap. Just as with ants, roaches too track and travel along invisable roads they create by leaving behind a scent of pheromones. You need to break up those pheromones with soap and water.

You won't be able to find all entry points.  Roaches can move thru cracks we can barely see.  Homes are littered with access points, new and old builds alike.

You need a barrier on the outside of the home, and then killing agents inside.

Plus, you need to stop them from wanting to come in.

There are reams of literature all over the internet.  You can't stop them coming in, you can only make sure they die once they do.

Well I have to block the entry of new ones, once that is solved, then the gels and powder may be useful for extermination of the ones that managed to get in, but how im supposed to get this solved if I don't find the entry point.

The pest control company scammed me 300 bucks to place some powder, gel and traps that they ignore. The guy will come again, I ordered that they check everywhere and cover all spots and he didn't do anything. I will complain and tell them to get the f*cking dishwasher moved outside and look on the pipe. If they refuse then this is just a joke. I had to remove the wodden board under the furniture myself because he refused "in case it breaks". So if I wasn't there he wouldn't have checked there which is a key point since my mom wouldn't obviously be able to remove the board. This is like if you go to the mechanic and they refuse to open the hood because it may break. It's all a big a joke. He also didn't remove the ceiling which is one of these removable ones with all sort of creaks and pipes etc. People just want to charge as much as possible and do as minimum as possible. I went this reputed international company and was still crap. The only good side is they sent a report with the products used so at least the used regulated products. Other than that it's just a joke. So I don't know wtf im going to solve this. Just killed another one when I went to the kitchen this morning. I didn't saw one for some days when I sealed the board under the furniture where there is the dishwasher, so I think that pipe may be a problem. I just find it fucking unbeliable that they refuse to do shit in case something breaks. It's like oh I cannot repair the computer because the door may break. Fucking fantastic. I need to buy a new dishwasher and I cannot do this until I get this solved. WHAT DO I DO?

I refuse to believe that. If all the cracks are properly covered, then they will not get in. When I fixed my ceiling on the bathroom, I never saw any insects comming from the ceiling again. Well same concept. I just need to seal everything.

What is that? Diatomaceus earth, so you just put this powder everywhere. Can you breathe this thing? and are you sure this really works? from what im reading, this thing requires to enter in direct contact. What he used here is something called indoxacarb, which is an EU approved biocide, and even then I just saw one surrounding it. But yesterday my mom saw one that was barely moving.

Btw, what do I do with the gels that the applied? he applied some gel dots around the place, supposedly they eat this, then they go back to the nest and they infect the rest.

Btw, how do I clean the spots with the white powder that they dropped? I don't want to vacuum this thing, what if some is stuck on the filter and it blows it back into the air.

DId anyone here post a source for profesional stuff to buy? I want to try the Bayer Maxforce and Goliath Gel but they are not for sale on amazon. In ebay some people sell it but not sure if they are legit or knockoffs.
