I recently update my Motherboard's BIOS and started to have it randomly cut power when I hit the power button when I try to wake the system from Sleep. I want to make sure it is not hardware failure causing this.

How do I roll back to the last version? I thought the M-Flash on my Motherboard could only update to newer versions. Additionally do I need to down grade to the old ME firmware too?

So there is not a specific way to roll back it just the same as updating to a NEW BIOS? Shoyld I also roll back the ME Firmware as well?

Man you ask too many questions. Yeah, just run the older firmware setup and "update" to an older version. I don't think ME firmware is important and is a different thing but you could still downgrade it for formality.

Also, Dell is evil, but HP kinda nice.

Alright. Yeah, I get that alot. I often get that way when I am worried and feel like I don't have handle on a situation.

Last thing do you know of any software I can use to test if my hardware is failing or in good health if this does not work?

 

Last thing I want right now is for my hardware to be going, especially since prices to replace things are through the roof.

There is no way to check the "health" of a computer. You can stress test it to see if it is working fine or failing. You can check if your cooling is working good or it needs a cleanup and new thermal paste.
