Hello guys!
I know this is not a PC question, but I'm desperate for an answer

I have a Samsung S23+, and I've been suffering from a bad battery for almost 4-5 months! My phone says that my battery is 95% estimated capacity, so I don't think that my battery is the problem here.
I have really bad battery issues from the February update, and since I need to charge my phone 2-3 times a day, only to hit like 7 hours of screen time (I'm using battery saving mode). In my head, I said that when the ONE UI 7 comes out, my battery is gonna be great, but it didn't...
I've tried to run Vulkan instead of OpenGL, I've tried to put apps in deep sleep, but it didn't resolve anything From what I've heard, the last thing that I can do is back up my phone (I want to back it up on a thumb drive) and reset my phone, and this is the question that I want to ask. Will resetting my phone and backing in the data in afterward will fix my battery draining issues?

(Sorry if I said something bad, but English is not my first language.)

It probably won't. It's also a pretty bad idea to back up to a thumb drive. Most out there aren't particularly reliable. If you want to try this, back your phone up on a computer and if the data is important and you plan to keep it backed up long term I'd also recommended to create a 2nd copy on a separate storage device for redundancy in case one of the drives fails.

That's probably fine then. It's unlikely that full storage is the problem, but give it a try if you want to. More likely apps sapping power in the background or maybe the battery is misreporting it's health. If you look in the battery settings it should show you how much battery each app is using, that might be worth looking over.

If the battery drains up fast the battery is the issue, not the rest

Only other possible cause could be that the phone stays on and runs a lot of stuff when not used, which is unlikely

I have the  256 GB version and I have only about 150GB used, u can see the battery activity from yesterday because today I didn't use my phone that much

*snip*

That looks like pretty normal battery usage. At least for Instagram and Tiktok. The S23+ whe new got about 10 hours 40 minutes of screen on time on general usage. And 5 hours of tiktok and instagram matches to about 45% battery usage. The rest of the apps listed seem to be sapping some battery which could contribute further but nothing worrying. That seems like pretty normal performance.
