Recently I've started having performance issues, and I feel like my system config really shouldn't be having any.聽

Games like Minecraft, Rocket League ... are getting constant stutters and sometimes can't even achieve 30 fps, also just black screens and random restarts do happen sometimes.

I thought that maybe it's a driver issue, so DDU'd the gpu drivers, but nothing really changed, maybe I should just put completely new clean install of windows on it?

Another thing, that I think might cause the issue, is my GPU rx 5700xt (MSI MECH OC), I bought it used (been working fine so far but, maybe it's time has come?).

The system is running on default settings ( No OC or undervolting or PBO or smth like that).

System specs:

Ryzen 5 7600;

Kingston Fury 16GB DDR5 5200MT/s;

Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX;

Used Msi MECH OC RX 5700XT;
XPG GAMMIX S50 Lite 1TB m.2;
Gigabyte P650B, 650W, 80PLUS Bronze.

Thanks in Advance!

They don't normally have stutters and poor performance when they die, but it could happen if the thermal paste/pads need replacing.

Have you run something like hwinfo (sensor tab) when you're gaming?

That sounds more like likely the PSU than anything.

Which drivers did you use? I'd advise that you try old drivers, like 23.11.1 and 24.5.1.

Hmm yeah, I have custom pads and paste on the gpu for about 2years now, so replacing them actually might be the solution. Haven't bothered with hwinfo but the psu is about 10 years old now and been in many different systems, so maybe that's also a problem. Currently running the latest 25.5.1
