Is my hdd still good?

Quick question, I plugged in my external hdd on the front io, it made weird noises kinda like scratching and didnt showed up on my pc, but after plugging it on the rear io it stopped making the noises and works like normal, should i continue using it or is the disk all scratched now and i should stop using it soon

You could use crystaldiskinfo to check the drive health, although I'm not too sure how reliable that would really be in your case.

You should be fine.

Probably your front port wasn't powerful enough.

An HDD is made to protect itself when insufficiently powered.
