Any one else have a MSI godlike x870? PBO preset keeps switching back to "auto" after rebooting back into BIOS (using PBO enhanced 3)

I've been messing around with different PBO presets and PBO enhanced 3 seems like the one that gives me the highest score on cinebench so ill stick to that one. But every time I reboot and go back in to the bios it keeps switching back to auto. why is this happening? I am running the latest BIOS version which is 7E48v1A34. Should I even be using this setting or am i using PBO wrong? Which preset is the best to use? please help.

Well a solution could be doing that manually.like 

Instead of using "PBO Enhanced" (a board-specific preset), try manually configuring PBO:

Go to BIOS > Advanced > AMD Overclocking > Precision Boost Overdrive

1. Set PBO = advanced

2. PPT Limit = ~160–200W

3. TDC Limit = ~110–120A

4. EDC Limit = ~150–180A

5. Scalar = 2–10x

6. Curve Optimizer = -10 to -20 per core or all cores (test for stability)

7. Boost Clock Override = +100 to +200MHz

Im not saying you should use these exat values you can tweak around or search the internet for better ones.

Do different pbo settings also switch back to auto? In that case I would wager the mobo or BIOS is faulty.

yeah. I forgot to add that detail. The other presets do stay when i boot back into the bios. Just not PBO enhanced 3. I'm might try rolling back a bios update.
