a25 5g vs s21/s20 looking for a phone to replace my 11

i have an iphone 11....... and its a pos....  its running currently ios 18.5 and its terrible slow like i mean to the point it lags when it types it randomly freezes and the battery isnt very good either

and i got it replaced back in nov 2024. so... its already at 87 health and i havent even used it that much. and yes i got it done by apple. anyhow im looking for a phone to replace it

my budget it 300$ cad max and the 4  phones im looking at are.

s22 smaller.... older... battery probably doesnt last as long as it could. probably has some level of scren burn in not sure tho 

s21 same deal witht he 22 ^ but even older but cheaper

s20 purley for it being cheap

a25 <----- im leaning on this one --- bigger battery. bigger screen and its brand new. i mean sealed new...  

i need something that isnt my 11 its so bad.... i dont really care about cameras. aslong as its better then my 11 in some form

not to mention the the speaker grills got poked out by a jerk of a phone repair dude. 

so i need some geunie input

budget 300 cad

anything better then this

Did you mistype or did you really mean the A25? The A25 is pretty low-end and probably won't get you the same experience as with your iPhone 11. I doubt you can get the S25 for the budget you mentioned

the a25 has a 5000mah battery 120hz screen same res as the s22.  plus its gonna get years more of updates

That's true, though you'll have a much lower performance. In geekbench it gets beaten by the A11 bionic from the iPhone 8...

Yes but the soc in it is VERY low end. Its about the performance of an iphone 7.

 

Its fine for most things and is much newer but it is objectively slower by a lot. Its also a exynos which is not great for battery life and its a samsung so filled with samsung garbage.

 

you can get xiaomi phones with like a snapdragon 7 gen 2 and such for around the price of a a25. Still android but much more for the money.

Given you are already accustomed to the flagship experience aside from the slowness the a25 can just be thrown out the window (rubbish display cameras etc.)

 

If you can get an s22 for 300cad go for it though you can probably go buy something like a used pixel 7 or 8 for a similar price
