The RAM gets very hot, advice

i bought Lexar 16GB DDR4-3200MHZ CL22 LD4AS016G-B3200GSST Laptop RAM

When I installed the Lexar RAM on my laptop and turned it on, I decided to test the RAM. I opened several tabs in Google until the RAM capacity was completely full.

When I turned off the laptop, I touched the RAM and felt it was very hot, unlike my old RAM, which had the same specifications but was from a different manufacturer and had a smaller capacity (8GB).

When I closed the laptop's back panel and decided to do the same test, I felt it very hot with my hand.

I think it will be dangerous for it and for the entire laptop in the long run. I can't even send you a temperature reading because it doesn't have a sensor.

Is this normal?

I have two solutions:

Solution 1: I don't care about the overheating issue, and buy a second Lexar RAM to complete the 32 GB.

Solution 2: I sell the Lexar I have and buy two Crucial RAM sticks.

What is hot for you is still very much okay for many components in your laptop (except for your battery). Anything above 55°C is uncomfortably hot for me but is very much unproblematic for RAM. RAM is safe for over 100°C, I don't think that your RAM is getting to that temperature

Unless you are overclocking your RAM - which you aren't, it's running at JEDEC speeds and timings - it can get very hot before there is any danger of instability, let alone damage. Most RAM is good to around 100C.

If your RAM was actually getting hot enough to the point that it would damage itself or the laptop as a whole, you wouldn't be able to touch it. It would be as hot as a pot of boiling water.
