Could someone guide me to undervolt my CPU (5600X) on an ASUS Strix Board?

I am very new to PC. But I keep getting random reboots whenever I play video games. Please help me.

Researcher/educator, music theorist, bassist, audio engineer, math & microtonal, comic books, existential philosophy. I enjoy technical death metal, deathcore, progressive metalcore, metalcore, nu metal, punk, jazz fusion, jazz, classical, and city pop.

Why do you think undervolting your 5600x is going to help with the random reboots?

 

What are the rest of your system specification? Be as specific as possible.

I did read that earlier today and it gave me a proper headache... I am sure you have had it worse.

I have no idea whats going on with it.

Can you help me undervolt? I tried to follow this video:

Maybe.  I haven't undervolted or overclocked an AM4 CPU before.
But I guess its the same as with my older Intel CPU's.

 

But not now. Its 1AM here in Norway and I need sleep 😄 

 

What was wrong with that guide? There are other guides and videos on the internet to follow as well.

What was wrong with that guide? There are other guides and videos on the internet to follow as well.

It never helped. I defaulted my BIOS settings. I want to dive off a building now.
