i want hevc encoding in moho pro but my gpu doesnt have it, i have to use moho pro to export all the frames and then use ffmpeg to convert it to hevc encoding, but that takes a long time. so i want to make it faster, these screenshots might help what i mean. oh and i havent found any backdoor in moho 14's code to add hevc support through ffmpeg

no hevc.PNG

That GPU doesn't support h.265 encoding, there's no way any software can make it do it.

Welcome to the forums!

You can check what cards support what encode formats here
https://developer.nvidia.com/video-encode-and-decode-gpu-support-matrix-new

Also, that GPU is manufactured ewaste and you likely would have saved money and gotten the same graphics performance by getting a non-f CPU

It's so old it's not supported anymore, so it got removed from the list.

Yup. iGPU would support all that.

Your GPU doesn't support NVENC at all.

Neither the Kepler 2.0 GK208B or Fermi 2.0 GF119S are listed.

i am planning to get something thats not an nvidia card later just for that reason but it does hold up some fps with overclock, just normal non gamer-ish fps

The GT710 has no hardware encoding of any kind. If you have a CPU with an iGPU it may or you can just use software encoding.

I'm not familiar with this particular program, but the advise on their forums seems to be to output frames to a lossless image file the toss that into a proper video compositer:

it has no absolute good type of hardware encoding options, i have to literally export the frames and use ffmpeg just for encoding it

i have seen that forum, and many others when i was new to this but

but using .tiff is slow using ffmpeg for me. thats why i was like "screw this thing, i need help, for real now"

Doesnt matter if you want that specific format or h264

Buddy your GPU doesnt have it and the only way for you to have it is to get a new gpu that has it or use your iGPU in case that has it

What if YOU were cake all along?

There isn't help to be had with that hardware. If the software doesn't have a way to set CPU encode you'll have to use the intermediate files, if it did then that step could be saved but the encode would still be as slow.

I'm betting that MPEG4 is an h264 preset, but the 710 doesn't support NVENC at all

Note that AMD and Intel are both well behind the curve with their encoders. NV really is the king of encoding

Yes, again, you would have been better off with the iGPU of a non F CPU

Also, why in the world are you exporting to .tiff? Unless you are doing professional work which requires the higher color depth, I really don't see a reason to use this. Why not a smaller lossless compression format like .png?

Well behind is an overstatement

Behind they are and nv does have the upper hand but intel and amd are steadily creaping up in terms of quality and speed and they arent too far behind to the point its nvenc or nothing

Yeah the latest testing of RDNA4 is actually quite good, nearly with Nvidia but either way, thats beyond the scope of this thread.

I heard that coffee's good for my sex life.

It isn't.

It kept me awake through the whole damn thing!

I actually had to participate.
