AMD’s computex keynote was chock full of new things! New mainstream GPUS in the form of the 9060XT 16GB and 9060 XT 8GB. All new Zen 5 based Threadrippers with upto 96 cores and 192 Threads. New FSR Redstone and so much more! Nvidia and Intel, you guys better watch out. Or maybe don’t be AMD will probably screw this up somehow.

The intro to this video is so true. So many people will grab radeon for the first time because it's cheaper and will have trouble with it and will never go back to it after this attempt just because the user base is not big enough to catch those issues correctly and because looking for others with same issues will be harder. On top of that amd fanboys making things harder for the newcomers is not good for radeon reputation.

Microcenter pricing doesn’t really matter too much; They don’t ship graphics cards, and even living in a hugely tech-focused metro area, it’s a 6 hour round-trip to drive to one from here.

AMD Ryzen 5900X

T-Force Vulcan Z 3200mhz 2x32GB

EVGA RTX 3060 Ti XC

MSI B450 Gaming Plus

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB

WD 5400RPM 2TB

EVGA G3 750W

Corsair Carbide 300R

Arctic Fans 140mm x4 120mm x 1

Amazon, Newegg, Best Buy, even Walmart, individually nearly any of those have a much greater influence on computer parts sales than Microcenter does; Realistically their pricing doesn't matter unless you live right next to one, they're inaccessible to most people. I live in Austin, TX, we have two Apple campuses here, IBM, AMD's testing lab is here, Microsoft, Amazon, Intel, all of them have campuses here and we still don't have a Microcenter. Additionally, a city right next door to Austin has Dell's headquarters. Blizzard Software, eBay, and PayPal have locations within a few miles of where I am sitting right now. If Microcenter isn't building here in one of the biggest tech-centered-metro areas in the country they're ultimately not that relevant, sorry.

I realize they're the darling retailer of many Youtube tech channels, but that doesn't change that their reach isn't great. Only a lunatic would make a 6 hour round trip to save $50 on a graphics card.
