My 3 month old BRAVIA has a faint plasticky smell around the top bezel (only when I smell up close). It gets pretty warm when I use it for PS5 gaming but not scalding.

This goes away when it cools down.

There also is a new area of backlight bleed/clouding that I haven’t noticed before so I’m wondering if this could somehow be related.

I haven’t really done anything to the TV but for frequent adjustments of the viewing angle; I move it on the swivel of the wall mount and the plastic creaks but I doubt this is enough to shift something inside.

Even after 3 months or so?

are you in the northern hemisphere? if so yeah its coming into summer so the ambient temp rises and the higher temps get the last remaining gases out that were trapped before
